William (Bob) Robert Tipton

William Robert (Bob) Tipton,  age 94, of Wildwood, passed away  Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the family home.

He was retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He also served honorably in the US Air Force. He was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vola Tipton and his wife, Ava Tipton, and his second wife, Bernice Tipton; brothers, Dean, Kenneth, and Burnes Tipton.

Survivors include his sons, Robby Tipton(Jenny)and James Tipton (Geraldine); grandsons, Matt Tipton (Amanda), Brandon Tipton; great grandson, Alex Tipton.

Memorial Ceremony will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Eusebia Presbyterian Church, 1701 Burnett Station Road, Seymour, with Brother Darrell McCroskey officiating.  Interment will follow in church cemetery.  The familly will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM Saturday at Eusebia Presbyterian Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood.  (865-984-5959) Online Book of Memories- www.dotsonfuneralhome.com
