William "Wade" McMillian

William "Wade" McMillian, age 79, of Maryville, passed away at home peacefully, to be with his Lord and savior on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Wade loved people and life, in general. He enjoyed talking, laughing, and joking with most everyone that he met. He truly never met a stranger. Wade was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him and always counted himself a blessed man to be able to live the life he loved. He was preceded in death by his sons, Rex and Tim McMillian; parents, Martha and David McMillian; brother, Roy McMillian; sister, Elizabeth Swiney. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Lois McMillian; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Leanna and Cole Gibson of Maryville; brother, Tony McMillian of Alcoa. Graveside Ceremony will be at 11:00 Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Piney Level Cemetery, 3527 Piney Level Church Road, Maryville, with Pastor Gary Cowan officiating.
