William Gale (Bill) Kerr, age 72, of Maryville, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the family home. He was born Feb 25, 1944 and lived all his life in Blount County. He worked in the funeral business since graduating from Everett High School in 1962 and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1964. He was a member of Clarks Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He never married but was a favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease people. Preceded in death by parents Billie Jean and Truman Kerr; sisters Mary Evelyn Brown and Betty Tandy; and brother J. T. Kerr, Jr. Surviving relatives: brother, Howard Kerr (Olga); nieces, Lisa Gideon, Vickie Burgess (Phillip), and Cynthia Holbert (Travis); nephews, Todd Kerr (Beverly) and Roger Kerr (Micki); several great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins, including Billie Offutt; and uncle, James E.
