Wanda Jane Norman

Wanda Jane Norman, age 82, of Alcoa, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Foothills Transitional Care. Wanda had worked for years as a hairdresser and made many friends along the way.   She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Alcoa.  She was very loving, kind, and giving through her years of service to the Alcoa community and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Eva Glandon. 

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Matt) Palonis; grandchildren, Michaela (Alex) McBrayer, Mason Palonis, Mercedes Palonis; great-grandson, Barrett McBrayer; sisters, Wilma Glandon, Linda (Don) Sentell, Brenda (Steve) Linginfelter; several nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a Memorial Ceremony at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 910 Walker School Road, Maryville, with the Rev.
