Victor Howard McClanahan, age 75, of Maryville, died Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Ben Atchley Nursing Home.
Growing up, Victor enjoyed sports and played basketball and football at Porter. He loved spending time outdoors—especially hunting and fishing, though fishing was always his favorite. Victor proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a combat photographer during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he enjoyed a long career at ALCOA before retiring. He was married to his beloved wife for more than 35 years, and he cherished their life together. Victor also had a deep love for his dogs and took great joy in gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean McClanahan; and parents, Joe and Mary McClanahan.
Survivors include his children and grandchildren; sister, Ruth Ann Guy(Teddy)
