Shirley Proctor

Shirley Proctor, age 91, of Maryville, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the family home.   

Shirley was born in Cades Cove and was proud of it.  He was retired from ALCOA and was a member of the 25 Year Club.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, reminiscing, and was very proud of his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Mae Proctor; infant daughter, Carolyn Proctor; sister, Dellavee Adams; 2 brothers-n-law.

Survivors include his daughter, Irma Proctor; son, Ernest Proctor; granddaughters, Anna, Amy, & Bonnie; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Sneed.

Graveside Ceremony will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Cold Springs Cemetery, 1226 Cold Springs Rd, Walland, with the Rev. Bill Suttles officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood.  (865-984-5959)  Condolences may be made at www.dotsonfuneralhome.com
