Robert Richard Reightler, age 83, of Maryville, died Thursday April 16th.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Carolyn Ann Reightler, his father Roland Roy Reightler, SR., mother Betty Reightler, and grandson Brandon Munn.
Bob served in the US Navy from 1960-1966. He retired from Kop-Flex where he was a skilled machinist. A true Baltimore, Maryland native, Bob (aka Pop) loved eating seafood! He enjoyed the outdoors, taking rides to the falls with Carolyn, walking his dogs, spending time on their boat with family at the lake, and fishing.
He is survived by his brother Roland Roy Reightler Jr., his son Paul Ellison, daughter-in-law Cindy Ellison, daughters Kim Waggoner, son-in-law Marty Waggoner, and Rose Guess; grandchildren, Maylin Ellison, Elizabeth Miller, Sara Therit, Cory Waggoner, and Dakotah Munn; great-grandchildren, Rachel Miller, Evelyn Miller, Joshua Miller, Cheyenne Therit, Annalisa Munn, and Brandon Munn.
Funeral Ceremony will be 10:30 AM Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. Keith Ross, officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery at 12 Noon, with Military Honors by the US Navy.
