Nelva Dean Adams

Nelva  Dean  Adams, age 82, of Walland, died Thursday, January 10, 2025  at the family home. 

She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, reading, and preserving cherished memories through scrapbooking. Nelva was a registered nurse, dedicating over 30 years of her life to Blount Memorial Hospital, where her hard work and compassion touched many lives. Above all, she adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who were the greatest joy in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Adams; her parents James and Martha Robinson; brothers John E. Robinson (Jean), and Bill Robinson; sisters Pearl Boone (John), Erma Leach (Shearl) and Elizabeth Barton (John), and daughter-in-law Stephanie Adams. 

She is survived by her  sons, Harry "Eddie" Adams, William Thomas Adams (Penny), and Benjamin Adams; daughters Victoria Sumner (Stanley), Lora Cable, and Melissa Pryor (Chris); sister-in-law Troy Robinson; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Wildwood Chapel, Dotson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 5 PM, prior to the service.
