Mary Jo Sampson, age 63, of Louisville, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glidis and Geraldine Melson; sister, Lucille Ledbetter; nephews, Rick Tyler, Charlie Russell, and Lloyd Walker. Survivors include her daughter, Robin (Jim) Kron of Maryville; sisters, Betty Russell of Greenback, Anna Wolfenbarger of Friendsville, Edna (Roger) Crisp of Maryville, Kathleen Hearon of Friendsville; brother, James (Mary) Melson of Louisville; special friend, Jerry Ogle.
