Madelyn Kidd

Madelyn Kidd, age 89, of Maryville, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the family home. Madelyn loved her children and her family. She was retired from Levi Strauss with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kidd; daughter, Connie Starr Dixon, Wanda Carol Kidd; grandson, Thomas Cody Hopper; brothers, Curtis Tackett & Bill Bradford; sister, Christine Little. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth ‘Jimmy' Kidd of Maryville, Don (Virginia) Kidd of Seymour; daughters, Trina Hopper and Debbie Jane Kidd, both of Maryville; grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Matthew, Jasmine, Jessica, Donnie, David, Mark, and Cody; several great grandchildren; close friends, Lorraine Hall, Joyce Millsaps, Pearl Keller, and their families. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Blount Memorial Hospice for their care. Funeral Ceremony will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel. Interment will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Tackett Cemetery in Robinson Creek, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
