Lola Mae Whitehead Haynes, age 52, of Memphis, formerly of Blount County, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Delta Medical Center in Memphis. She was very creative, writing poetry as well as making arts & crafts. She also enjoyed cooking for herself and others. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Whitehead; mother, Wanda Burchfield; grandparents, William and Rosalie Burchfield; Sherman and Alice Whitehead. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Marie Lingenfelter; son, Joshua Dalton; 5 grandchildren; brother, Mark Whitehead of Madisonville; sisters, Genia Miller of Alcoa, Laura (Rick) Jenkins of Walland; aunts, Linda King and Sara Eads; uncle, David Burchfield; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Ceremony will be 7:00 P.M., Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with Mr. Roger Burchfield and Pastor Fate Green, officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Walden's Creek Cemetery in Sevier County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Dotson Funeral Home.
