Linda Lee Arendt

Linda Lee Arendt, age 70, of Maryville, died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at UT Medical Center after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Linda worked as a real estate broker for more than 20 years with Century 21, where she was known for her professionalism, warmth, and dedication to her clients. Congenial by nature, she truly liked people and was always ready to help, offering her time and generosity freely.

Family was the center of Linda’s world. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, attending every event, cheering them on, and always being there when she was needed. Her presence was a constant source of love and encouragement.

Linda’s strength and perseverance were an inspiration to all who knew her. Even while battling stage 4 cancer for more than six years, she refused to let it define her or keep her from fully participating in life. She met each day with courage, optimism, and grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Velma Mellons.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Art Arendt; daughter, Kelly Khokhar; grandchildren, Ben and Jacob Khokhar; and many friends and work colleagues.

Private burial will be in Edgefield Methodist Cemetery, Piney Flats, TN.
