Kathy Sue Griffin age 67, passed away October 30, 2024 Surrounded by Family and Friends..
Kathy was born on January 22, 1957 .Hollywood Florida. She was a loving Mother, Mimi , Sister, Daughter, Great-Grandmother and friend. She worked for Shoney’s for many years . She became a manager for Hardees for 8+ years. She attended Spring Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing and beating everyone in Poker. Elvis might have been the king of rock and roll but Sue was the Queen of Poker. She loved Cotton eyed Joe. She was a number one fan for the Florida Gators Football . She loved the Wizard of Oz She had just about everything of it. There wasn’t nothing more she loved doing than playing with her Grandchildren and Her Great- Grandchild Eva. Kathy was the most sweetest, sassy, kind hearted woman that has ever lived.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father William and Betty Hubbard. Grandmother Ruby Moat, Nephew Danny Hurst, Niece Judy Lynn. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Tammy Hartman ( Micheal); Grandchildren, Brandon McGinnis( Jenna), Braadon Staley, Lulu McGinnis, Brooklyn Hubbard, Jay Hubbard; Great Grandchild , Eva McGinnis; Brothers, Ralph Turner, Kenny Hubbard; Sisters, Pat Hurst (Gary), Judy Newman, ; former husband Mike Gri?n. Special people to her heart; Alice and Steven Lucas, Sue Boring. Her memory will always be carried in our hearts.
Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 8th 2024 at Beech Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive Friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Friday at Beech Grove Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood.
