Joshua Cain Warren

Joshua Cain Warren, age 45, of Knoxville, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Joshua was a character and a bright light who brought his own unique energy to the lives of those around him. He could be funny and wild, but most importantly, he had a way of making others feel safe.

Joshua enjoyed camping, fishing, and simply being outdoors. He loved being in the woods, away from people, where he could enjoy the peace and freedom of nature. He also loved to drive and was always ready to go for a ride. Joshua lived life in his own way, and those who knew him will remember his humor, adventurous spirit, and the light he brought into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Barbara Warren; Phillip Hubbard; and his father, Gary Gray.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Abbott; mother, Betty Warren; daughters, Lexi Warren and Millie Abbott; stepchildren, Shyanne Daugherty, Jerry Vaughn, and Devon Keller; grandchild, Vynlee; sister, Sarah Ramsey; second parents, Charles and Vickie Josey; best friend, Chrissy Vaughn; and close friend, Kelly Josey.

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel. Interment will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Fort Sumpter Cemetery in Halls.
