Jose Vazquez Lopez, 56, died at his home in Maryville, surrounded by his loving family.
A devoted father of four, he always made time to stay connected with his children, making them his top priority. He shared a particularly close bond with his daughter Olivia, and together, they enjoyed visits to Sandy Springs Park. Jose loved being outdoors, whether for work or leisure, and he found joy in singing.
He enjoyed his work as a landscaper at Landsculptures, Inc. in Maryville, where he considered his coworkers family. His work allowed him to spend his days outside, and he had a special fondness for the leaf blower.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Vazquez Sanches and Josefin Lopez Casdro.
He is survived by his daughter Olivia Cooper; sons Alfredo Vazquez Cruz, Cesar Vazquez Cruz, and Jose Vazquez Cruz; brother Luis Vazquez Lopez; and sister Cohinda Vazquez Lopez.
The family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life at 3 PM on Sunday, March 9, at East Alcoa Baptist Church.
A private burial will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood (865-984-5959). Online Book of Memories available at dotsonfuneralhome.com.
