Jane Lindsay Breunig

Jane Rand Breunig, 96, of Maryville, TN, died December 5, 2025. Born in New Orleans to Willis L. and May
Weinberg Rand, Jane moved several times around the Deep South before arriving in Atlanta at age fourteen,
where she finished high school in Buckhead. Janegraduated from Oglethorpe University with a degree in Art
History then moved to New York to take her first job as a runway model in the garment district. In New York, she
met her loving husband Frank, and they had their first five  children while living in New York and New Jersey. The
family moved to Atlanta in the early sixties, where Jane’s sixth child was born. Later in life, Jane forged a
successful career in Family Counseling at Peachford Hospital. Jane was active in St. Anne's Episcopal Church

in Atlanta, and she was a patron of the arts. Her hobbies were travel, gardening and birding. Jane is survived by
her six children, Peter C. (Linda) Breunig, Karen B.Kimbrel, Edward A. (Susan) Breunig, Kristin B. (Mohamed)
Graba, Suzanne B. (Sam) Preston, Sarah B. (Craig) Anderson, eleven grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Jane was a radiant light sent to the world from Heaven, now returned to Heaven. There will be a
graveside service for family held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Maryville. The family has asked that donations
