James William Nichols

James William Nichols, age 95, of Acworth GA, formerly of Walland, died, Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was born on September  8, 1929.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William And Edna Nichols, brother, John Nichols, sisters, Wilma Jean Anthony and Arletta Durr; son, Clyde Nichols and step sons Carl and Tim Guerra; 1 grandson and 3 great grandchildren.

Survived by wife Roxann Nichols; daughters, Elaine Henderson of Opelousas LA; Sheila Reagan of Dresden TN, James Nichols of Nettleton, MS and Kenny Nichols of Jackson TN; sister, Phyliss Reed of Walland; brothers George and Ralph Nichols both of Walland, 11 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and special friends that he loved like a son and daughter Wayne and Bonnie Bercegay. 

Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel. Interment will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery.
