Davis, James Odis "Odie", age 78, of Walland, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Odie worked as a brick mason, but his real love was farming and he did that the latter part of his life, especially gardening. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olin and Gladys Davis; brother, Billy Davis; sister, Carolyn Ferguson.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Jean ‘Margie' Davis; daughters, Pam (Rod) Bryant, Shari (David) Osborn, Lisa (Dwayne) Davis; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Oletta (Dennis) Tilley, Barbara (Jack) Helton.
