Jama Lea Wilson

Jama Lea Wilson, age 59, of Maryville, died Monday, April 13, 2026 at the family home.

Jama was the sweetest person you could ever meet, with a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her. She loved to laugh, hug, and giggle, and could joke with anyone about anything. Her freehearted and giving nature made her someone who loved people unconditionally. She enjoyed going for car rides, especially to the mountains, and spending time on picnics, creating simple but meaningful memories with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, JD Burchfield and Bonnie Morgan; and grandparents, Elmer and Rosalie Burchfield, and Bill and Bonnie Morgan.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Wilson; brother, Roger Burchfield (Buffy); sister, Tammy Lingenfelter; and special friends, Wanda Franklin and Marti Dyer.
