Glen Dale Shown Sr.

Glen Dale Shown, Sr., age 77, of Seymour, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Pigeon Forge Rehab Center. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid trout fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Shown; parents, Charlie and Lonnie Shown; granddaughter, Brittany Thomas; great-grandson, Aiden; brother, Earl Giles. Survivors include his daughter, Karen (Darryl) Carter of Seymour; sons, Floyd Thomas, Jr., Glen Shown Jr., both of Knoxville; Leroy Thomas, Dale Shown III, both of Seymour; 9 grandchildren; 9 great - grandchildren; brothers, Don (Ann) Shown; Earnest (Pat) Shown, Vaughn Ray Shown, all of Knoxville; sister, Eugena Johnson of Knoxville; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral ceremony will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. Gary McCammon, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland South Cemetery.
