Franklin (Frank) D. Long I

Franklin (Frank)  Deleno Long I age 84 passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones and into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He was a Christian by faith and attended Peck’s Memorial United Methodist Church in Maryville Tn.  Franklin was born on November 14, 1937 and passed away April 12, 2022. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents William J. and Elizabeth Long and his son Randy J. Long.  Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce Long who cared for Franklin until his death.  A brother Ben Howard Long of Alcoa Tn and Betty Hurst of Scottsboro Alabama. Surviving children are Franklin D. Long II of Walland Tn, Todd Long of Maryville Tn, Beth (Mike) Brown of Sardis Oh and Billy Long of Maryville Tn. Franklin’s grandchildren include Amanda (Nick) Nicholas of Newport Tn, Marisa Griffis of Maryville Tn, Carly Griffis of Jacksonville, Fl, Stormie Long of Walland Tn, Natasha, Kirsten and Colby Brown of Sardis Oh, Loren Long of Washington DC and Jamie Long of Maryville Tn. Great-Grandchildren include Jace, Chelsa, Christen, Cole, Liam, Jazime, Anakin, Remington, Carter and Gage. Additionally, Franklin loved his fur babies dearly. They are Bootsy, Beffy, Garfield and Bayne.  

In leu of flowers, a Go Fund Me has been established to cover costs due to his extended illness.
