Earl Jett Sr.

Albert ‘Earl’ Jett, Sr.  age 77, of Rockford, died Thursday, July 20, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

Earl was a 1963 Grad of Porter High School and a lifetime member of Central Point Baptist Church.  He worked for 30 years at ALCOA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Bernie Jett; brothers, Bill and James Edward Jett.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Doris Houk Jett; sons, Earl (Jennifer) Jett Jr., Eddie (Heather) Jett; daughters, Robin (John) Dayton, Kristi (Spencer) Gregg; brother, Doug (Pauline) Jett; sister, Wilma McDaniel; grandchildren, Jared (Megan), Jonah (Katie), Jackson, Sara, Sam, Jacob, Sarah, Duncan, Sam, Anne, Samantha, Nicolas, Ella, Oliver, Milo; great grandchildren, Mason, Easton, Hudson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to nephew, Larry Jett; UT Hospice nurses, Ashley & Heather, and his caregivers, Linda & Adam.
