Douglas Lee McCarter

Douglas Lee McCarter, age 65, of Townsend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  He worked at Cooper Drywall & Painting for almost 15 years.  Doug’s favorite hobby was working on old cars.  Doug will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh & Mildred McCarter; brother, Harold McCarter.

Survivors include his brothers, David (Sherry) McCarter, Dwight McCarter; sister-in-law, Billie McCarter; nieces, Kayla (Zak) Lafaver, Lori Goins; nephews, Mikael (Sierra) McCarter, John McCarter, Rob McCarter; great nephew, Colton McCarter; great nieces, Ady, Sophia, Lyla McCarter.
