David Edward Rich

David Edward Rich, age 62, of Wildwood, died Monday, October 6, 2025, at Prisma Blount Memorial Hospital. He was the oldest child of Bob and Andrea Rich.

David was a proud veteran, serving honorably in the U.S. Marines. He loved music, especially playing the guitar, and was a gifted artist known for his detailed drawings and caricatures. He enjoyed reading in his spare time and also had a lifelong love of motorcycles. He spent most of his career working as a truck driver. David had a wonderful sense of humor and could find something funny in almost anything. He loved to tease and poke fun at those he cared about. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Andrea Rich; and brother, Robert Patrick Rich.

Survivors include his sister, Gina Rich; brothers, Mike Rich and Steven Rich (Mary); nieces and nephews, Anthony Rich, Patrick Rich, Amanda Rich, Michaela Rich, and Skylar Rich Davis.

Memorial Ceremony will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Dotson Funeral Home.
