Daniel Lloyd Terry

Daniel Terry, age 90, passed away on January 14, 2025.

Daniel was a devoted family man, a hard worker, and a man of faith. He attended Oak Ridge High School and served both as an employee at Y-12 and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. As a proud Cold War Patriot, Daniel took pride in his contributions to his country. He enjoyed trout fishing, cooking, and spending time with his loved ones. A devout Christian, he was an active and committed member of his church, always leading by example. Most of all, he cherished his family and would do anything for his children, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering devotion.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clegia and Zilpha Terry; and brother Edmond Terry. 

He is survived by his wife Betty Terry; son, Danny Terry (Sheri); daughters Patricia Roney, Deborah Rouse (Danny), and Brenda Tenney (Brad); his grandchildren Heather Charlton, Mark Rouse, Jason Rouse, Andrew Maze, and Lauren Travers; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
