Clifford 'Pete' Tipton

Clifford ‘Pete’ Tipton, age 86, of Townsend, died Monday, October 4, 2021 at Fairpark Healthcare.Pete was a veteran, serving honorably in the US Army.  He also worked as a carpenter throughout his life.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Amanda Tipton; brothers, Tom Tipton Jr and Bily Joe Tipton.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Anna Tipton; sons, Bill (Frances) Tipton, Dave (Juanita) Tipton; daughters, Donna (Mark) Huskey, Janie (Jeff) Franklin; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.No public ceremonies are scheduled at this time.  The family will do a private burial of his cremated remains in Calderwood Cemetery.  Cremation Done ProperlyTM under the care of Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood.   (865-984-5959) www.dotsonfuneralhome.com
