Cindy Crotty, age 59, of Maryville, died at Blount Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
She was deeply devoted to her husband of 37 years, Mark; her children; and her big, beloved dog, Charlie. She poured love into every relationship and held her family and friends close. A homemaker, she dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed crafting and had an affinity for stained glass. Cindy loved music, carried joy everywhere she went, and always had a smile on her face.
Most importantly, Cindy’s strong faith was the foundation of her life. Described by many as “God-filled,” she welcomed people from all walks of life with warmth and kindness—never judging, always giving. Cindy lived with a servant’s heart—she was “never about herself.”
Her legacy is one of faith, grace, joy, and selfless love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Francis Dring Sr., and her father-in-law, Carnis Crotty.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Bradley Crotty; mother, Shirley Ann Dring; children, Danny Crotty (Savanah) of Halls, Kelly Crotty of Maryville, and Katelyn Baker (Devin) of Maryville; sisters, Dianne Dring of Wheaton, Illinois, and Kim Woods (Chris) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; brothers, Dan Dring (Emmanuel) of Columbus, Ohio, and Ed Dring (Sarah) of Elgin, Illinois; several beloved nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Fran Crotty; sister-in-law, Terri Crotty; aunt-in-law, Brenda Hicks; dear friends, Margaret McKinnon and Betty Anne Kruger (Francis); and, of course, her dog, Charlie.
Serving as pallbearers are Danny Crotty, Dan Dring, Ed Dring, Devin Baker, Steven Hernandez, and Jesse Prince.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 3508 Wildwood Rd, Maryville, TN 37804, with Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating.
