Carl "Burnes" Tipton

Carl "Burnes' Tipton, age 85, of Wildwood, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the family home. He was a retired carpenter and a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vola Tipton; brother, Kenneth Ray Tipton. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Helen M. Tipton; son, The Rev. Doug (Teresa) Tipton of Wildwood; daughters, Debbie Tipton of Lenoir City, Sandie (Lowell) Arp of Maryville, Sherry Tipton of Maryville; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean (Ann) Tipton of Chapel Hill, TN, and Bob Tipton of Wildwood. Funeral Ceremony will be 6:00 P.M., Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Reagan officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 29, 2018 at Eusebia Cemetery in Seymour. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M.
