Bobby Lee Morgan, 72, was born on July 13, 1953, in Walland, Tennessee. He passed away on March 30, 2026, at his home in Walland, Tennessee. Bobby grew up on Barb Hollow and played football and basketball.
Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bobby worked at Alcoa for 30+ years as a laborer where he was proudly known as "Bad Bobby". In his free time, Bobby enjoyed golfing with his friends. He enjoyed walking and driving through the Smoky Mountains. Bobby was an avid Tennessee Volunteers football fan. He was particularly fond of his cats. He loved to spend time outdoors, and he enjoyed sitting in rocking chairs on his front porch in nature.
He was preceded in death by parents William (Bill) Anderson Morgan of Gatlinburg and Jamamia "Bonnie" Lou Chambers Morgan of Cades Cove and siblings Marion (Billy) Curtis Morgan, David Ray Morgan, and Barbara Sue Burchfield. Bobby is survived by daughter Elisha Morgan, sons Travis Morgan and Brian Morgan and wife Kira Morgan. His grandchildren are Misty Dawn Morgan, Nora Morgan, and Kelsey Morgan. Thanks to his special friend who visited frequently, neighbor Ron, cousin Randy, nurse Tracy, and friends.
