Betty Jane Terry

Betty Jane Terry, age 91, of Maryville, died Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Prisma Blount Memorial Hospital.

Betty loved to cook and entertain guests, with special dinners for occasions like Valentine’s Day being among her favorites. She was quiet by nature, but she formed deep, lasting friendships. A devoted and protective family member, Betty was a hard worker who loved helping others. She was also a very creative person, with crafting as her true passion. She made aprons that she sold to craft stores, sharing her talent and creativity with the community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel.

Survivors include her son, Daniel C. Terry (Sheri); daughters, Patricia Roney, Deborah Rouse (Danny), and Brenda Tenney (Brad); grandchildren, Heather Charlton, Mark Rouse, Jason Rouse, Andrew Maze, and Lauren Travers; and great-grandchildren, Maddie, Suzanna, Owen, Martin, Tyndale, Lilly, Elliott, Haley, Ryan, Lily, JJ, and Levi.
