Barbara Inez Bounds

Barbara Williams Bounds, 89, of Seymour passed away on December 20, 2024. She was a member of St. John UMC for 67 years. She enjoyed sewing and it brought her immense joy to help sew the banners for the church. Barbara will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grand and great grandmother, seamstress and artist. She was preceded in death by husband Frankie “Joe” Bounds and son Steve Bounds. She is survived by daughters, Tari Ayers and Traciey (Robert) Davis; daughter-in-law Kim Bounds; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister Carolyn (Kenneth) Blake.

Memorial service will be at St. John UMC, 2201 East Broadway Ave. Maryville, TN on Friday, December 27, at 2:00 pm.

Interment will be at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
