The Rev. Calvin James Moss, age 90, of Sevierville, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at the home of his son, surrounded by family.
He was the founder of Trinity Full Gospel Fellowship and cemetery, which he established to help those in need. In his spare time, Calvin also enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Louise Moss; second wife, Katherine Moss; daughter, Martha Alice Moss; brother, Carlton B. Moss; parents, Morris and Nora Moss; sisters, Cloe Ann Smalley, Charline Ruth Perrine; son-in-law, Norm Moder; daughter-in-law, Darlene Moss.
Survivors include his sons, Jim (Victoria) Moss, Daniel Moss; daughter, Sandra Moder; grandchildren, Joe Martin, Julie Heston, Angel Dahler, Tammy Wolf, Jennifer Moss, Rachel Brancato; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Carl (Catherine) Moss; sister, Charlotte McGown; special friend, Curtis Manning.
Funeral Ceremony will be 2:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Trinity Full Gospel Fellowship, 3770 Thomas Cross Road, Sevierville, with the Rev. Curtis Manning officiating. Interment will follow in the Moss Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at the church..
