Bennett Edward ‘Eddie’ Baker, age 73, of Wildwood, walked through heaven’s gates on December 9, 2021 to join his dad, Bennett Washington Baker; mother, Jean Long Baker; daughter, Tonya Baker Long; brother, James Paul Baker (Glenn); and infant brother, Billy Baker.

Survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce Underwood Baker; sons, Kenny Baker, Mikey Baker; daughter, Melinda Baker Bryant; stepdaughter, Missy Sharp McCroskey; stepson, Brad Sharp; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He worked for the railroad for many years. His accomplishments, although bound to a wheelchair for 40 years, include antique cars, driving round track racing, and serving as a police officer in Greenback. He was also an accomplished marksman in police competitions, winning many trophies.
